From Paris to The Palladium: How My Client Brought the World to Iloilo

By Ernest Ian Jagorin
Sales Director and IBP Specialist

In this business, the paperwork and the turnover are just technicalities. The real reward—the part I love the most—is seeing a client take a concrete shell and turn it into a living, breathing extension of their personality.

I recently sat down to watch the latest episode of IBP Talks, featuring one of my clients, Karl. Karl is an OFW nurse and an incredible traveler who has visited nearly 30 countries. When he decided to invest in Iloilo, he didn’t just want a place to sleep; he wanted a space that told his story.

If you haven’t seen his unit at The Palladium yet, you need to watch this tour. It is a masterclass in personal branding for Airbnb.

The “Traveler” Aesthetic

What strikes me most about Karl’s unit is the intention behind it. He mentioned in the video, “It’s super important for me that my home represents part of me.”

He achieved this beautifully with a dedicated travel photo wall. It features shots from his trips to Paris, Amsterdam, and Monaco. For me, as a realtor, this is a great lesson for anyone looking to enter the Airbnb market in Iloilo: Don’t be generic. Guests want an experience. By sharing his travel memories, Karl invites his guests to be part of his journey.

Why Karl Chose The Palladium

During the interview, Karl highlighted something I tell my clients all the time: Safety and Location are non-negotiable.

Living abroad, he needed peace of mind. He chose The Palladium because:

  1. It’s Iconic: It’s one of the tallest towers in Western Visayas.
  2. The Lifestyle: He’s steps away from the best restaurants and malls in Megaworld Boulevard.
  3. The Trust Factor: He needed a team he could rely on while he was thousands of miles away.

A Seamless Process (And a Personal Thank You)

I have to admit, I was touched when I heard Karl mention our work together.

He said: “The lucrative Megaworld Boulevard location coupled with a great Sales Director, Ernest Ian Jagorin, who made the process so seamless from the beginning to the end.”

Hearing that is exactly why I do what I do. I know how daunting it can be for OFWs to invest back home. You worry about the paperwork, the timeline, and who is handling your hard-earned money. My goal with Karl—and with all of you—is to erase that worry so you can focus on the excitement of owning a piece of Iloilo.

The Investment Angle

Karl is playing the game smart. Since he is based abroad, he uses the unit for Airbnb when he isn’t here. This turns his vacation home into an income-generating asset. Because The Palladium is such a high-demand location, it’s a strategy that pays off.

Meaningful Real Estate

If you are an OFW or a local investor looking to create a space that reflects your passion—whether it’s travel, art, or just pure relaxation—I’d love to help you find the canvas for it.
